Although contemporary projects are exciting, it’s important to take time to reflect upon our past. Our arts programme celebrates the history and the heritage of the health service in Wales in general and in Cardiff and Vale specifically.
We have recently celebrated the 70th anniversary of the NHS with a special exhibition in The Hearth Gallery as well as a number of other projects.
We also work closely with our partners in St Fagan’s National History Museum, the Mushin Museum, and the Whitchurch Hospital Historical Society to accurately archive and present the history of healthcare in south Wales in an engaging and artistic way.
