WELCOME MOLLY: We have some very exciting news! Molly May Lewis is the new Exhibition Coordinator at the Hearth Gallery in Llandough. Melanie Wotton, the previous exhibition coordinator is now working hard to take our arts for health and wellbeing agenda out into the local community so Molly will be managing things at the gallery from now on. Molly is a fine artist, printmaker and graduate of the Cardiff School of Art and Design. We love new mural on MEAU in University Hospital Llandough. The mural was created by artist Paula Thomas as part of a project to help the patients on this ward, brightening the environment and also acting as a focal point to help patients with cognitive difficulties. Both staff and patients love the finished result!!

It was an absolute privilege to see the unveiling of this beautiful piece of art yesterday on the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit. The piece was commissioned by colleagues, family and friends of Bev Roberts to celebrate her life, and it really is an amazing and fitting tribute by artist Rachel Hannah.

We’ve received so many positive comments about our Staff Recognition artwork in UHW, and yesterday we worked with @semaphoredisplay at UHL to install their artwork. We think it looks great!

Go along and see our wonderful exhibition by the talented photographers at Cardiff Camera Club in the Urology Outpatients corridor UHW. To promote the arts with UHW we are utilising alternative exhibition spaces, improving environments for both patients and staff
