Case Studies

Rubicon Dance

The Arts for Health and Wellbeing Team first contacted Rubicon in 2018 after
hearing about their work with Stroke survivors in the community. Since then, our partnership has continue to grow and benefit patient’s from multiple hospital sites.

Haf Weighton

Our long-standing partnership with Haf Weighton since 2016, has seen her consistently create work of an exceptionally high standard, and we are also delighted that she brings a wider, broader interest to every project theme, connecting several organisations to work together as part of the process.

Four in Four

Paul and Tamsin of Four in Four have worked with the Arts team on many occasions and have formed a strong relationship with the team and the Arts for Health and Wellbeing Programme as a whole.

George Pope

We know that visual and performing arts in healthcare environments helps to reduce stress, anxiety and sickness and our Arts programme in Cardiff and Vale UHB has certainly proved this to be true, especially in the case of George Pope, a patient at out Stroke Rehabilitation Centre.
