AJ is a self-taught, neuro diverse artist from South Wales who started his practice in late 2022.
The work presented here is inspired by a childhood growing up in a small, working-class town sandwiched between the country and the rolling tide.
A mixture of paint, clay and encaustic hot wax, have been rendered and fused together to create depictions of childhood memories, words spoken and things only half remembered.

The To Where The Sky Burns At Its Edge exhibition will run until 27th November.

To Where The Sky Burns At Its Edge – Arddangosfa gan AJ Sidford

Mae AJ yn artist niwroamrywiol hunanddysgedig o Dde Cymru a ddechreuodd ei ymarfer ar ddiwedd 2022.
Mae’r gwaith a gyflwynir yma wedi’i ysbrydoli gan blentyndod a magwraeth mewn tref fechan, ddosbarth gweithiol rhwng cefn gwlad a glan y môr.
Mae cymysgedd o baent, clai a chwyr poeth llosgliw wedi’u rendro a’u cyfuno i greu darluniau o frith atgofion plentyndod a geiriau a ddywedwyd.

Bydd arddangosfa To Where The Sky Burns At Its Edge i’w gweld tan 27 Tachwedd.
