The Arts for Health and Wellbeing Team are part of the pan-Wales Arts and Minds Initiative funded by Baring Foundation and the Arts Council of Wales.

Our Year 1 Arts and Minds Projects, 2021-2022 were delivered within the clinical environment at the Neuropsychiatry Department, Hafan y Coed Adult Mental Health Unit, University Hospital Llandough, within the community at the 4 Winds Mental Health Resource Centre and the Grange Bowls Pavilion, Cardiff, and through the Recovery and Wellbeing College, CAVUHB.

We collaborated with arts organisations Four in Four, Rubicon Dance and with artist Louise Jensen to deliver a programme of innovative arts interventions supporting mental health, and are delighted to see continuing initiatives generated by this funding opportunity. Alongside our healthcare professionals, organisations and artists we created a strong foundation for our Year 2 Arts and Minds projects which are now running.

We would like to share some of the outcomes, including a Support Guide co-produced by artists Paul Whittaker and Tamsin Griffiths which provides a wealth of learning for both artists and professionals.

We would also like to share outcomes from Four in Four’s Art Workshops delivered in Jan 2023

Celfyddyd a Chrebwyll; Blwyddyn 1 yn dod i ben

Mae Tîm y Celfyddydau ar gyfer Iechyd a Lles yn rhan o Fenter Celfyddyd a Chrebwyll Cymru gyfan a ariennir gan Sefydliad Baring a Chyngor Celfyddydau Cymru.

Cyflwynwyd ein Prosiectau Celfyddyd a Chrebwyll Blwyddyn 1, 2021-2022 o fewn yr amgylchedd clinigol yn Adran Niwroseiciatreg Uned Iechyd Meddwl Oedolion Hafan y Coed, Ysbyty Athrofaol Llandochau, o fewn y gymuned yng Nghanolfan Adnoddau Iechyd Meddwl 4 Winds a Phafiliwn Bowlio y Grange, Caerdydd, a thrwy’r Coleg Adfer a Lles, BIPCAF.

Buom yn cydweithio â’r sefydliadau celfyddydol Four in Four, Rubicon Dance a’r artist Louise Jensen i ddarparu rhaglen o ymyriadau celfyddydol arloesol sy’n cefnogi iechyd meddwl, ac rydym yn falch iawn o weld mentrau yn parhau i gael eu creu gan y cyfle hwn am gyllid. Ochr yn ochr â’n gweithwyr gofal iechyd proffesiynol, sefydliadau ac artistiaid, gwnaethom greu sylfaen gadarn ar gyfer ein prosiectau Celfyddyd a Chrebwyll Blwyddyn 2 sydd bellach yn cael eu cynnal.

Hoffem rannu rhai o’r canlyniadau, gan gynnwys Canllaw Cymorth a gynhyrchwyd ar y cyd gan yr artistiaid Paul Whittaker a Tamsin Griffiths sy’n darparu cyfoeth o ddysg i artistiaid a gweithwyr proffesiynol.

Hoffem hefyd rannu canlyniadau Gweithdai Celf Four in Four a gyflwynwyd ym mis Ionawr 2023

Dilynwch y ddolen fideo hefyd i weld aelodau Rubicon Dance wrth eu gwaith, a’r gwaith celf a grëwyd gan gyfranogwyr Gwasanaeth Adnoddau Iechyd Meddwl 4 Winds.
