The Arts for Health and Wellbeing Team are always pleased to be able to assist in improving environments for our patients and colleagues. We were delighted to work with local artist Victoria Perkins to create a piece of art for the Ambulatory Care Unit are within the Emergency Unit at University Hospital of Wales.
The painting, entitled ‘We’re All in this together’ has made a wonderful addition to the area and has received a wonderful reaction from both patients and staff.
“I was absolutely delighted to be commissioned by the Arts for Health and Wellbeing programme to create a unique and uplifting piece for the Ambulatory Care unit. I very much enjoyed working with the Arts team with the creation of the final concept, and I am so happy with the final outcome. I just hope that it brings a smile and some hope to the people that see it within the unit.”

Mae Tîm y Celfyddydau ar gyfer Iechyd a Lles bob amser yn falch o allu helpu i wella amgylcheddau i’n cleifion a’n cydweithwyr. Roeddem wrth ein bodd o gael gweithio gyda’r artist lleol Victoria Perkins i greu darn o waith celf ar gyfer yr ardal Gofal Symudol o fewn yr Uned Achosion Brys yn Ysbyty Athrofaol Cymru.
Mae’r paentiad, o dan y teitl ‘We’re all in this together’, yn ychwanegiad hyfryd i’r ardal ac wedi cael ymateb gwych gan gleifion a staff.
