This week is Action for Brain Injury Week, and we are delighted to share a collection of poems written by Trevor Plenty, a former brain injury patient at Rookwood Hospital. Trevor’s poems documenting his journey from his youth in the Royal Air Force (RAF) through to his accident and recovery, whilst capturing his positive attitude throughout.

Thank you Trevor for spreading your humour, support and encouragement to our patients and Health Board staff through your poetry.

Mae hi’n Wythnos Gweithredu dros Anafiadau i’r Ymennydd, ac mae’n bleser gennym rannu casgliad o gerddi a ysgrifennwyd gan Trevor Plenty, a fu’n glaf yn Ysbyty Rookwood ar ôl cael anaf i’w ymennydd. Mae cerddi Trevor yn gofnod o’i daith, o’i gyfnod fel dyn ifanc yn y Llu Awyr Brenhinol (RAF) hyd at ei ddamwain a’i adferiad, tra’n crisialu ei agwedd gadarnhaol drwy’r cyfan.

Diolch Trevor am rannu dy hiwmor, dy gefnogaeth a’th anogaeth i’n cleifion a staff y Bwrdd Iechyd trwy dy gerddi.
